DEAD LINKS

NOTE : DEAD LINKS
We'd like to thank everyone for preventing us of dead links. For the moment, we are note able to re-up them.

Feel free to keep on preventing us of those dead links. We will update them when we (I and Jeb-E-Diah) have more time to (understand : from september). Some of them will be partially or completely repacked considering albums which would have been issued thereafter and surely with new and improved artworks.

Stay tuned !

FABULOUS TROBADORS (ABO#279)

FABULOUS TROBADORS
I A PAS RES A FAR
(1992-2005)

I first met that band in a Michael Palin (from the Monty Python) documentary about his travels all around the world. It was dealing with medieval traditions and first of all the minstrels. The Fabulous Trobadors are not really minstrels but they perpetuate that old tradition of the french southern oral singing. That region (Languedoc) is completely artistically forgotten or neglicted. FT's process is simply not to let that vanishing culture fall in oblivion. Not necessarily too traditional, the Fabulous Trobadors have put some electricity and electronic in some songs but the way they sing still reminds us what a troubadour was made for : simply circulate informations.

My Fabulous Trobadors TOP :
1- On The Linha Imaginot (1998)
2- Duels De Tchatche Et Autres Trucs Du Folklore Toulousain (2003)
3- Ma Villes Est Le Plus Beau Park (1995)
4- Era Pas De Faire (1992)

BONUS FOR YOUR PLEASURE (ESPECIALLY IF YOU UNDERSTAND FRENCH)
A GREAT IMPROVISATION LIKE THEY USE TO OFTEN DO. THIS SONG IS NOT ON OUR BAISTOPHE LIKE MANY OTHER SONGS THEY DO LIVE. WHERE YOU SHOULD SEE THEM.
