DEAD LINKS

NOTE : DEAD LINKS
We'd like to thank everyone for preventing us of dead links. For the moment, we are note able to re-up them.

Feel free to keep on preventing us of those dead links. We will update them when we (I and Jeb-E-Diah) have more time to (understand : from september). Some of them will be partially or completely repacked considering albums which would have been issued thereafter and surely with new and improved artworks.

Stay tuned !

KILLING JOKE (ABO #381)

KILLING JOKE
THE JOKE’S ON YOU

There are not many bands like Killing Joke. Lead by frontman extraordinaire Jaz Coleman, the band has now more than 30 years of age yet manages to remain something fresh, energetic and constantly evolving.
Starting as a post-punk act, they succeeded to adapt their trademark sound in time, slowly turning (except for a “poppier” gap in the mid/late 80s, that is) into something more aggressive, infusing a bit of metal and industrial into their music.
Now, back with their original line-up, they’re set to release a new album in September. It was more than time to try to resume their prolific quality career and Magnu took a job that wasn’t as easy as it seems for his first collaboration at Baistophe. Let him be thanked and enjoy “The Joke’s on You”.

Magnu’s KILLING JOKE List
1 - Pandemonium (1994)
2 - Extremities, Dirt & Various Repressed Emotions (1990)
3 - Revelations (1982)

4 - Killing Joke (1980)

8 - Fire Dances (1983)
9 - Killing Joke (2003)
10 - Night Time (1985)

EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN (ABO #286)

EINSTÜRZENDE NEUBAUTEN
KEIN ROST KEIN RUHM
(NO RUST NO GLORY)

Einstürzende Neubauten is a German avant-garde music band, originally from West Berlin, formed in 1980. The group currently comprises Blixa Bargeld (lead vocals, guitar, keyboard), Alexander Hacke (bass, guitar, vocals), N. U. Unruh (custom-made instruments, percussion, vocals), Jochen Arbeit (guitar and vocals), and Rudi Moser (custom-built instruments, percussion, and vocals).
The band is often classified as industrial music. One of their "trademarks" is the use of custom-built instruments, predominantly made out of scrap metal and building tools, and noises, in addition to standard musical instruments. Neubauten has always experimented with sounds, originally in noise music and recently in very diverse styles.
This is the first compilation from Baistophe's new collaborator Diod Dioderies, let him be thanked for his great work.

MARILYN MANSON (ABO #255)

MARILYN MANSON
POSTHUMAN

I won't be long with MM's case aas everyone knows him at least by his name and reputation. One thing I like in Marilyn Manson is that too few people understands him, really. His detractors are simply fanatic christianists who only find in him evil ways. On the other hand, too many of his fans love him for his satanic image. So if there's a war of ideas behind MM, it's just because of the public, not of the artist.
It's a bit sad to resume MM to that identity, because even in that agressive music there's a little bit of tenderness that can only betray the identity behind which he's hiding. Just listen to The Speed Of Pain and find negative waves in it... Marilyn Manson is just a rock'n'roll singer like many others and that's enough to like what he's playing. If you find it insane, it's just that you didn't understand that it's only second-degree.

My MM TOP
1. Mechanical Animals (1998)
2. Smells Like Children (1995)
3. Antichrist Superstar (1996)

4. Portrait Of An American Family (1994)
5. Holy Wood (2000)
6. The High End Of Low (2009)
7. Eat Me, Drink Me (2007)

8. The Golden Age Of Grotesque (2003)
