Here's a best of, or rather a compilation as many quality songs are left aside, of this North American band influenced by Judas Priest, Iron Maiden or early Metallica.
It would be pity to miss this great underrated band which has been able to demonstrate both compositional skills and melodic treasures from his very first album (the self titled 1991 release). Jon Schaffer, guitaris/composer/sole remaining founding member possesses his own sound which makes easy to recognize Iced Earth among his peers proof, it needed be, of the great value of this powerful and melodic heavy thrash formation, one that shoudn't be missed... Enjoy those nearly 80 minutes of pure metallic talent!
