DEAD LINKS

NOTE : DEAD LINKS
We'd like to thank everyone for preventing us of dead links. For the moment, we are note able to re-up them.

Feel free to keep on preventing us of those dead links. We will update them when we (I and Jeb-E-Diah) have more time to (understand : from september). Some of them will be partially or completely repacked considering albums which would have been issued thereafter and surely with new and improved artworks.

Stay tuned !

ZZ TOP (ABO#097)

ZZ TOP
BEARDED WEIRDOS
(1970-2003)

One thing is really surprising : with only two albums (Eliminator, 1983 and Afterburner, 1985) ZZ Top was forever associated with that kind of mechanic boogie that can be heard on those two LPs. That's a bit reducing their whole discography (14 albums, without counting the best ofs and the live ones) which is widely richer than on that low period. It's right that they hardly managed to drop that image until they issue their 1995 album Rhythmeen which brang them back in their earlier days. Let's listen their first three albums and you'll find the real spirit of ZZ Top !

My ZZ Top Top 3 :
1. The ZZ Top's First Album (1970)
2. Tres Hombres (1973)
3. Degüello (1979)

My ZZ Top Bottom 3 :
1. Afterburner (1985)
2. El Loco (1981)
3. Eliminator (1983)

Nice job, but how could you've not put "Jesus, Just Left Chicago" after "Been Waitin' For The Bus All Day"? Those two songs are inseparable!
