FIREBIRDBLUE FLAME
(2000-2009)
Firebird was formed by guitarist Billy Steer who also played in various bands such as Carcass and Napalm Death. Unlike those bands, Fireband's music is more oriented towards the 70s classic rock style sharing similarities with Led Zeppelin or Cactus. Their kind heavy blues rock (rockier than blues when compared with their influences) is nowadays considered as Hard Rock, something I can agree with.
After 9 years of activity and 5 studio releases, Firebird is now well settled in the rock industry but seems to need some more promotion than they got.
