Of course, you'd have to be a caveman or to live in Northern Korea or the Rain Forest not to have heard about the most "over the top" formation to have come from the United Kingdom in the past few years. A band which managed to evolve from a Radiohead copycat to the bearer of the torch of modern Pomp Rock. Some might consider Matthew Bellamy's falsetto vocals and symphonico-progressive influences to be a bit too much, I think they're the delightful proof of a band who doesn't care what the litterate and influencial press thinks and, well, that's a breath of fresh air considering all those acts sounding exactly like they should or following the newest trend. So, here are 30 songs from the Muse's five albums and numerous single B'sides, a 2 hours and a few minutes feast for the ears. And remember, resisting Muse is futile.
My MUSE List
(Main albums only)
1 - Absolution (2003)
2 - The Resistance (2009)
3 - Origin of Symmetry (2001)
4 - Showbiz (1999)
5 - Black Holes and Revelations (2006)
RIYL:
Radiohead, Queen, Jeff Buckley
2 CD c'est pas un peu beaucoup pour 5 albums ?
ReplyDelete7 si tu comptes Hulaballoo et le Live et 8, voire 9, avec la tapée de faces B.
